Robert Swanson was born on February 26, 1961 to the union of the late John and Pauline Swanson in Ft. Myers, Florida. Robert was the baby boy of eight children.
A Time To Work
Robert worked a Prather’s Laundry for many years. Later he went into the same profession as his father which was landscaping until his health started to fail.
A Time To Be Born Again
Robert accepted Christ and was baptized on April 26, 2014.
A Time To Say Goodbye
On January 13, 2018, Robert was called home to be with our Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Swanson; brothers, Frankie, John Jr., and David Lee; sister, Shirley Swanson; nephew, Darrell Shaw. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughter, Jakisha Swanson; sons, SSG Robert Swanson Jr. (Irene), Jacobe, Antwon; daughter, Kamila; sisters, Ivory Smith, Catherine Thompson and Barbara Goodman; five grandchildren and his K-9 companion, Buck whom Robert loved dearly. He further leaves a host of nieces, nephews family members and friends.
