Mary Louise Thomas Murray known as “Weezy” died unexpectedly at Gulf Coast Hospital on Friday October 30, 2015 in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 67.
Mary Louise Thomas Murray was born on February 14, 1948 in Pelham, Georgia to the union of the late Wilmert Thomas Sr. and Annie Bell Thomas.
Louise received her education at Dunbar High School in Fort Myers, Fl. Louise married Henry Lee Murray in 1989. Louise was a dedicated and faithful employee of Sears for over 44 years, where she was
loved by all. She was an active and dedicated member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board, assisted with the Youth Usher group and known as a Diamond Member.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, (Wilmert & Annie Bell Thomas); one brother, Charles Thomas and her son, Reginald Levon Fletcher all of Fort Myers, Florida.
Louise is survived by her devoted husband, Henry Lee Murray; one great nephew like a son to her, Kenyarda Javon Florence of Tampa, Fl.; one sister, Annie Ruth Jenkins (Theodore) of Bradenton, Fl., one brother, Wilmert Thomas Jr. (Beverly); one devoted aunt, Sylonia Williams of Fort Myers, Fl.; sister-in-law, Essie Jefferson of Fort Myers, Fl.; one step-granddaughter, Sophia Murray, and one step-grandson, Demarus Murray, Jr. Louise has a host of nieces, nephews, and (great-great) nieces, nephews, cousins and she truly loved them all. Louise also had two special godsisters, Pamela Greene and Mary Waters and two special godsons, Michael Barnes & Shawn Michael Greene Sr. She had a host of friends that she loved and cared for, as well as some who were dear to her: Deloris Bowers, Mattie Black, Estella Pointer, Mary Ellen Butler and Margret Brown and many more.

I will forever love you Aunt Louise you were always there for me when I needed just to hear kind words of encouragement or just needed a hug. You were always there for my children and my mother with such love and understanding that words cannot express my gratitude to you.You touched everyone you encountered in this world and that is truly amazing that in our hearts you are truly an Angel. Thank you for loving our family with so much unconditionally. I will forever love and cherish you Mary Louise Murray!

Even though my heart is broken I will lean on the lessons you gave me. You were my best friend then my uncle made you my aunt. You were and are still loved more than you could ever know. Rest in Peace my Queen we will meet again.

Louise you will always have a special place in my heart. We became instant friends when I came to your store. You made me so welcome and made coming to work fun. Always will appreciate those Wednesday surprise visits you made to me after I retired from sears.

my deepest sympathies to the family of louise....i was a co-worker at sears for many years....she was always kind ,sweet and made me feel special.....because she was a special person who everyone loved......and as we loved her......i will always remember her....

My prayers and condolence are with the Thomas and Murray Family. I am so thankful that God gave Louise and I the time to share our friendship, over 30 years plus of love .I am going to really miss my friend, Louise. When someone we love becomes a memory those memories become treasures. I will always treasure our friendship. Gone but not forgotten.
