James Harold North, Jr. was born on May 4, 1959 in Fort Myers,
FL to Mr. and Mrs. James and Janie North. He was a student in
Lee County School District. He enjoyed being a student athlete
and expressed great joy of how he really enjoyed school. James
graduated from Cypress Lake High School and West Virginia Uni-
versity with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He became a
Corrections Officer in the State of West Virginia and then in the
State of Florida (Fort Myers and Orlando). He retired in 2004 after
more than 20 years of service. While working and during retire-
ment, James enjoyed praising God, singing, laughing, fishing, and
bringing joy to others.
He was married to his loving and devoted wife, Cindy on Decem-
ber 20, 2004. He was a wonderful husband and father. God blessed
them throughout the years with much love, joy and laughter.
On July 24, 2015, James went home to be with the Lord and Sav-
ior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie
Mae North. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving
father, James North Sr.; his loving wife, Cindy; his loving brother,
Joseph (Benita); his loving children, Corey, Jamie, Bryant, and
Jeremiah; his grandchildren as well as his loving niece and neph-
ew, Kemeko and Joseph. He also leaves to cherish his loving
memories: his loving mother and father-in-law, sister and brother-
in-laws, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
