Sister Johnnie Mae Robinson was born in Dundee, Mississippi to Joe Willie Sr. and Annie Mae Curry. She later moved to Ft. Myers, Florida and accepted Christ as her savior at an early age while attending Friendship Baptist Church. She later became a member of St. Mary M.B. Church.
She attended Dunbar High School. She employed at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center for 15 years and the Lee County School District for 20+ years as a food service worker, working in many positions ranging from cook to supervisor.
She leaves to mourn her passing husband, Jerry Robinson Jr. of 26 years; She was preceded in death by two brothers, S.C. Curry, and Joe Willie Curry Jr.; two sisters, Annie V. Turner, and Ida B. Curry. Her daughter, Marilyn E. Peacock and her son, Anthony J. Peacock.
She leaves to lovingly cherish her memories, brothers and sisters, Mrs. Billie Jean and John Ward, Victor Curry, Flora Curry, John Curry all of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Mr. Euris and Luceal Curry of Punta Gorda, Florida; three children, Antoinette and Joe Dekle of Atlanta, Georgia, Zachery E. Peacock and Ericka Battles of Ft. Myers, Florida; four grandchildren, Aleshia and Chad Ingram of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Darrell and Toni Peacock of Ft. Myers, Florida, Adrain Cutter of Gainesville, Florida and Keidra Fredricks of Ft. Myers, Florida; nine great grandchildren, Jasmine Peacock, Torin Gary, Justin Howard, Jayden Howard, Jayden and Zachary Ingram, Jahniya Peacock, Aaliyah Dall and Darrell G. Peacock Jr.; her beloved godson, Roger Nader and beloved friend and "sister", Mrs. Ellen Gibbons. Very special friends like daughters, Alfreda Sturgis, Burnidine Kendricks, Eva Luanne Belton, Mary Hawkins, Mary Brown, Mya Matthew and Wanda Thrash. Last but not least a beloved boss and confidant, Mrs. Margaret Tominlson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
