Rebecca Addison was born August 16, 1943 in Fort Myers, Florida to Edward Howell and Ossie Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Addison. Rebecca accepted Christ and served him faithfully. She was dedicated member of Apostolic Revival Center for 30 years, she served faithfully in several departments.

 

 

 

Rebecca graduated from Edison College with A.S. Degree in Social Services. She worked at Dr. Ella Piper Center for many years. She retired from Lee County Housing Authority. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and being with family and friends.

 

 

 

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Patricia Addison (deceased) Telisha Addison of Fort Myers, Florida; one step daughter, Beverly Washington of Fort Myers, Florida; four sons, Chester Addison of Fort Myers, Florida, Curtis Addison (deceased), Anthony E. Addison (deceased), Fredrick Addison of Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Janice Outlaw (Windford) of Lehigh Acres, Florida; three brothers, Edward Howell (deceased), Luke Gavin of Groveland, Florida and Willie Gavin (Tamika) of Fort Myers, Florida; two aunts, Clara Maloy of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Gracie Terrell of Fort Myers, Florida, 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grand, four god sons, Bishop David Grant, Lawrence Butler, Stewart Beverly and Robert Debose; two god daughters, Lorenda Barber and Lakiesha Mack; three long time friends, Lillie Butler, Pamela Lawrence, Betty Cook and host of cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.

To the family; "Weeping endures only for a short time. Thank God for the joy in knowing Mrs. Addison." Blessings and favor wil never come before obedience to those who diligently seek him.

Thank God for the mother-in-law God called her to be. What an awesome opportunity I have had to have known her. I love you Mrs. A!
