Mary (Ladybug) Louise Alberta Baker
(February 16, 1954 - June 5, 2013)
Mary Louise Alberta Baker was the first child of the late James and Velma Baker. She was born on February 16, 1954 in Earle, Arkansas. The family later migrated to Florida, settling in Florida City. Mary received her education through the public school system, finishing at South Dade Senior High.
She met Bobby Jackson, the father of her three loving children, at an early age. Looking for a change in life, Mary moved to Fort Myers, Florida where she would work as a cook until she became disabled in 2010.
Mary spent her leisure time cooking, watching crime shows, and socializing with her many friends.
Mary leaves to mourn her three children: Cortoria Jackson, Chaquel Baker, and Tiffany Baker; her seven siblings: Charles Brixton, Nathaniel Baker (Phyllis), Bobbie Robinson (Salathiel), Walter Inman, Juanita Vann (Herman), Mervin Inman, Melvin Inman (Michelle), brother-in-law Don Skinner (husband of Lorine Skinner), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James Baker and Velma Inman; stepfather, Ervin Inman, and her sister, Lorine Skinner.
To her siblings Mary was affectionately known as Lady Bug, and to their Lady Bug they say goodbye. You will be sorely missed.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
