Allen Bell Jr. was born August 13, 1942 in Donaldsonville, GA to Delia Hopson and Allen Bell Sr.; the oldest of two siblings.
Allen Bell Jr. succumbed to death April 4, 2013 at 70 years old. He was a 1960 graduate of Dunbar High School where he played trombone in the band. He also played football and baseball. He prided himself on attending the Dunbar High School Class Reunions each year.
As a faithful member of Mount Olive AME Church he was a member of the Male Chorus. He was a former member of the singing group the Victones in New York, who were signed by Motown Records. A fan of the Miami Heat, theMiami Dolphins and the Florida Gators, he was loved by many. He worked 20 plus years at the Gulf Coast Center.
He was predeceased by his son, Allen Bell III, brother, Melvin Crumedy, and first wife, Rosa Brookins..
He will be greatly missed by his mother, Delia Guyton; His four daughters: Adalya (Trivia Reed), Anjala, Shyler, and Alicia Bell; His special Stepdaughter, Aquawana Brookins (Qua’Miryiah) all of Fort Myers, Fl; Twelve (12) grandchildren; One great grandchild; Second Wife, Debra Harris, Former Special Friend, Betty Holcy; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Two Special Cousins, Freddy and Emanuel Pope, Other Relatives, Best Friend Mr. Bodie; Significant Other, Winifred Lovett and many dear friends inclusive of his Mount Olive Church Family.
