Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 270 Withlacoochee Avenue, Labelle, Florida.  Interment will follow in Ft. Denaud Cemetery, Labelle, Florida.  Vistation will be held on the day of the service.

William "Billy" Adams Sr. was born on April 23, 1955 to the late Luther James Adams Sr. and Nezzie Lee Jones Adams. He received his education in the Hendry County School System. He attended Edison Community College, then served in the U.S. Army.

He leaves to cherish his memory; children, Lawerence Thomas, William O Adams, Jr., Altovise Adams, and Adrienne Adams; grandchildren, Cathavius, Oscar, Kobie, Frankie, Tyrone, Tyrese, Ty’Jae. Ar’Da’zhane, Corinthian, Lauren, and Ph’nesse; brother, Luther James Adam Jr.; sister, Martha Singleton; nephews, Leonard Pitts (Kaprena), Luther J. Adams III and Rodney Watson; nieces, Joyce Campbell (Lewis) and a host of great nephews and nieces, cousins, classmates and friends.
