Robert Williams was born August 23, 1947 in Baxley, Georgia to the late James Williams and Edith Williams. Robert was educated in Baxley, Georgia. He was never married. He loved to cook homemade meals and tell life stories. He worked a Cement Industries and later became a business owner.

He was the proud father of seven children, Robert Lee Williams, Stephanie Williams, Sophia Dixon, Erica Baldwin, Chasmine Johnson, Jobrina Turner, and Gerald Banks; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one sister, Patricia Ann Green; one brother-in-law, Willie Green; one deceased sister, Nazzerine Williams and two deceased brothers, Wilson and Jessie Williams.
