GREENAN, Janet "Jeanette" (Furmenek), of Walpole, Mass., formerly of Mission Hill, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 30, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Mission Hill, Janet lived a vibrant and colorful life, dedicating herself to Boston Public Schools, her family, and enjoying every moment. She is survived by her five daughters, Linda Greenan of Walpole, Janet and Mark Busekroos of Shrewsbury, Patricia Griffin of Hyde Park, Rosemary and Chuck Wickman of Southboro, and Donna Greenan of Mission Hill. Janet was the loving Nana of Lauren, Kyle, Katie, Dan, Lindsey, Kenny, Kristina, Mike, Jill, Brad, Matt, Daniel, David, and Libby. Great-Nana of Michael and Nathan. Janet is also survived by her cousin Barbara, and many nieces and nephews. Wife of the late William "Pug" Greenan, daughter of the late Thomas and Tessie, and pre-deceased by her sisters. Janet loved Corporation Beach, coupons, and TJ Maxx. Janet's family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Fanta and the compassionate staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital for their wonderful care.
Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., Walpole, Saturday morning at 10:30. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy's Church, Norwood at 11:30AM. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
