Diane,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have fond memories of sitting with George and Bernie Shea after my Dad's wake and reminiscing with them about Jim.
Sincerely,
Mike McCarthy

Dear Diane, Lisa, Colleen, Kevin, and families, Eddie, Robert, and Danny--Words cannot express how my heart breaks for all of you on the loss of your dear husband, father, grandfather and brother. I am so glad that I had the chance to visit with him on Sunday and with all of the family. We go way back to Weld Hill Street and I remember taking care of all of the boys and then Dan when he was born. George was smiling and so happy to see me and everyone who came to visit him. George's passing will leave so many voids in everyone's life. He was a special man. May God help you all through this difficult time and may all your wonderful memories comfort you. Sending love and hugs to all of you.

Dear Diane and family,

I have had the privilege to have known George for 43 years, 33 of which were teaching at Medfield High Scool. He was one of the nicest guys I have known. We have shared many happy occasions from ten years going to Williams College during the summer to our gatherings for breakfast and lunch with the rest of the guys. I always had great respect for George and considered him a loyal friend. He was greatly admired for the courageous way he handled his ordeal and he will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who lived life to its fullest. Sincere Sympathy, Allen and Judy Azer

You have my deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow. The loss of a loved one is painful. I'd like to share scripture that may bring comfort.

Isa. 55:11 promises us...So my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without result. But it will certainly do that in which I have delighted and it will have certain success in that in which I have sent it.

Ps. 116:14 lets us know...Precious in the eyes of Jehovah is the death of his loyal one.

Ecc. 1:4 also lets us know...A generation is going and a generation is coming, but the earth will stand to time indefinite.

1Cor. 15:42 informs us...So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is sown in dishonor, it is raised up in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised up in power.

Ps. 115:16 also informs us...As regards to the heavens, to Jehovah the heavens belong, but the earth he gives to the sons of men.

I sincerely want these scriptures to bring hope and help your family endure.
