PIKE, Gerald E. Of Walpole, Nov. 1, age 77. Beloved husband of Helene M. (Connell). Devoted father of Kristianne E. "Kristi" Pike and her partner Lisa Sarkis of CT and G. Matthew Pike and his wife Francy of Deadwood SD. Cherished brother of Andrew Pike of FL, Susan Heckman of Bellingham and the late Donald. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 3-6 at the Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St, WALPOLE. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private at the family's request. My condolences to the Pike family. Jerry and I became friends many years ago when he came to look at some used Stanley doors that he advised me not to install. He gave me good advice and we became friends. He stopped every spring on his way to Canada to go fishing. We would share stories, pictures and fly fishing tips. Jerry was very kind and generous to I Care Ministries because he could see what we do to help people and he believed in the mission. I will miss his annual stops and stories.
