FERGUSON, Bennett S. Of Needham, formerly of West Roxbury, February 26, age 85. Former husband of Nancy Freeman of Norwood. Devoted father of Richard E. and his wife Kat of Port Charlotte, FL, Lauren Madden of Truro, and the late Douglas. Loving "Grampy" of Charles R. and Jason W. Madden, both of Sharon. Father in law of Charlie Madden of Sharon. Visiting hours will be held today (Thursday) from 4-7 at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral Services and interment will be private at family's request. Late WWII Navy Veteran. Ben was a mentor and dear friend to me. We both had a love of computers and music. He was kind and warm to my daughter AiLi and he will be greatly missed.
