Peter A. Hurwitz, age 73, of Walpole, died suddenly September 9th, from injuries sustained in a boat racing
accident.  Beloved husband of Louise J. Berthel.  Dear father of Hillary Hurst Bush and her husband Devon Bush of Cambridge.  Born in Boston in 1939, he was a graduate of M.I.T. and also received a ph.D in chemistry from Brandeis University.  He was the owner of Chem-Netics, Inc. in Walpole.

Funeral services were private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter's memory to the MSPCA Angell Memorial Hospital, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA  02130.
