PROUT, Francis X. Jr. "Frank" Of Norfolk formerly of West Roxbury and Belmont, July 21, surrounded by his loving family, age 68. Beloved husband of Virginia "Ginny" (Caponetti) of 45 years. Cherished son of the late Francis and Mary Prout. Devoted father of Francis X. III and his companion Kerry Jordan of Bridgewater and Victoria Reen and her husband Joseph of Dedham. Loving "Papa" of John and Joseph Reen and grandfather in his heart to Sydney, Sheridon and Shaelyn Jordan. Beloved brother-in-law of Michael and Veronica Fermino, Kevin and Valerie McClay and Michael and Karen Caponetti and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE, Wednesday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christisan Burial at St. Jude Catholic Church, Norfolk, at 10. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening from 4-8. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private at family's request. Frank was a dedicated veteran of the US Navy and completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Boston University where he met and fell in love with his darling wife Ginny. Frank retired after 30 years with the federal government and spent the years after his retirement doing consulting work. Frank also taught many courses over the years at several local colleges.
