   Violet M. Macho, age 92 of Mankato, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato.
   A Celebration of Violet’s Life will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato, with Pastor Adam Matheny officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.
   Violet’s Family will greet friends on Tuesday morning one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
   Violet Marion was born on January 29, 1927 to Cort and Albertine (Harmes) Cuhlers in Clara City, Minnesota. Vi was employed at Johnson Reel for numerous years followed by employment at Kato Engineering where she then retired.
   Vi was a volunteer for many different area organizations. She was an active member of the Mankato Eagles Club Aerie #269, the American Legion Post #11, Morson-Ario-Strand VFW Post #950, and the Moose. Vi was also a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Mankato. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid bear collector, enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Vi also enjoyed making ceramics and cake decorating.
   Vi is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Holcomb; son, Kevin (Amy) Wiehr; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; daughter, Kathleen Leader; son, Richard Wiehr.

She was a special person in her own right. So happy her pain and suffering are behind her. Hopes for the family that their sadness heals quickly.

Kevin n Amy,Ryan .so sorry for the loss of your mother/ grandma..she will always remain in your heart. Shes flying with the angels reunited with her loved ones. Hugs n prayers to all of you ❤❤😘👼
