Shirley H. Green nee Fitzpatrick age 86, beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Charlene (James Ret. CPD) Kelly and Douglas (Ellen) Green. Dearest grandmother of Bridget (Matt) Thurn, Kathryn (Brian) Galleher, William and great grandmother of Abygail Galleher. Dear sister of the late Marie (the late Charles) O'Keefe, Laura (the late Matthew) DiCaro and sister in law of the late Charles (Jean) Green. A fond aunt and cousin to many. A special thank you to the staff  at Manor Care West Oak Lawn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Peace Hospice for the excellent care they extended to Shirley during her illness. A member of Saint Albert the Great Senior Citizens Club, The Queens Guild and a longtime volunteer for the Chicago Public Schools Special Olympics. Visitation Wednesday 2pm to 9pm at Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home 7901 S Komensky Ave. Relatives and friends are asked to gather Thursday 10:45 am at Saint Gerald's Church (SW Hwy and Central Ave Oak Lawn Il.) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am.
