I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike at UIC and got to know him and your family through our many discussions over the years. He was a good man and great friend who always was there to help me and my colleagues with our special projects at work. He will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Mike especially well, but as an electrician at UIC our paths crossed somewhat regularly. Mike was a very personable gentleman and I never heard him say an unkind word towards anybody.
