I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family of George McDonald Jr. over the loss of your dear loved one. During this most difficult time, may you find the words of our loving Heavenly Father at Isaiah 25:8 to be of comfort. He promises there to "swallow up death forever, and ... will wipe away the tears from all faces." He invites you to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

"The pain felt upon the departure of loved ones from this life will generally mirror the joy we felt while they remained with us."- Sam Storms

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope the joy felt far outweighs the pain.
