Robert A. Pfeifer. 65 years. Veteran United States Army. Dearest son of the late Alvin (C.P.D.) and the late Lorraine Pfeifer. Survived by William Pfeifer, Karen Zalewski, Mary Ellen (Bill) Howell, Penny Granat. Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. Funeral services and visitation will be held at the Thomas McInerney’s Sons Funeral Home, 4635 South Wallace Street, Chicago, Illinois, Thursday, July 28, 2016.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m.and will conclude following an 8:00 p.m.,Chapel prayer service. Interment will take place on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Resurrection Cemetery - Private.

Please accept our condolences. I met Bob back in 1968 when I started with IBM. Had some good times at 310 W. Madison. Especially on 3rd shift. We will keep Bob and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

We were very sad to hear of Bobby's passing. Also, sad that we didn't stay in touch. We both have great memories of Bobby including his kindness and generosity. Rest in peace Bob!
