Therese and family please accept my deepest sympathies during this difficult time. I'm very sorry I wasn't able to make it to the visitation service today. I pray that many comforts can be found through the God of all comfort as highlighted in the bible at I Corinthians 1:4 through 7. May the resurrection hope brought out at John 5:28&29 bring some joy too. Jacque JPMS family

A Neighbor
   Posted Fri October 23, 2015
I didn't know Mr Slusher had died. I found out this morning. The last I heard he was leaving for Kentucky...a place he loved to be. I did notice however that over the last 2days, the birds stopped singing and in the garden, the flowers had bowed downward even in bright sunlight. I know now that they were mourning an old friend. I know that his family and friends mourn his loss...I also know that the plant and animal world have lost a great benefactor. They also were part of his family. He was a good neighbor to me and I will remember him every time I walk through my garden.
