Johanna Marie Leonard (nee Seibert); 84 years of age passed into eternal life on July 29, 2013, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Lester B. Leonard Sr. Loving mother of the late Edward (Barbara -Thompson) of Santa Rosa CA; Joanne (August) Webster, of Burbank, IL; Lester “Mickey” (Carol) Leonard Jr.,of Homer Glen, IL; Darlene (Thaddeus J.) Porawski, of Monticello, IN.  Dearest daughter of the late Edward and  Henrietta Ethel (nee Barrett) Seibert. Dear sister of Eugene “Skeeter” Seibert.  Devoted Grandmother of 11, Great-Grandmother of 17. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Johanna lived in Chicago, Illinois for fifty (50) years, and in the Monticello, Indiana, community for the last thirty-four (34) years. She worked in the Office of the Cook County Clerk for nine (9) years, retiring in 1994. Johanna was loved by her many friends in Illinois and Indiana, especially her family.  She was the life of all family get together's and wedding receptions, dancing her famous "Chicken Dance".  Funeral Services Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 8:45 a.m.at the Thomas McInerney Sons Funeral Home, 4635 South Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609.  Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Gabriel Church at 9:30 a.m.  Visitation Monday, August 5, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Jude Children’s Fund appreciated.  Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - Worth IL.
