Sister Mary Jo DeMarco, R. S. M., A beloved member of the Sisters of Mercy for 78 years. Loving daughter of the late Ralph and Fortunata DeMarco; dear sister of the late Ann, Sara, Marie, Greg and Marion; a fond aunt of several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Gabriel church 4500 South Lowe Avenue from 9 AM to 11 AM and at the Mercy Convent 10044 S. Central Park Ave. from 3 PM to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10 AM at Mercy Chapel .Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sisters of Mercy would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas McInerney's Sons funeral home, for further information please phone 773-268-0703

My lovely aunt Jo was always loving, supportive,and a real character!! She is the last of that generation and I love her deeply. She will be missed! See you on the other side in glory Aunt Jo!

God speed Sister Mary Jo!! Many miles and decades have pasted since I sat in your classroom and studied under your guidance. So one last time my thanks for a great start on life. Your years at St. Lucy's touched many and fond memories abound.
