Uncle Charlie you will be greatly missed. It seems like yesterday that you were playing with all the kids and cousins. You always took the time to make us laugh. You’re a very loving soul and I know we’ll see you in heaven.

Charlie and Karen were so much more than the friendly parents of my dear friend Sue. They provided me a home and a family when I really needed it. As a young adult - they looked out for me, and made me feel welcomed and safe. I will always hold a special place in my heart for them, like parents. I learned a lot from them - kindness and compassion. My best to the Laux family, Sue & Ron, David & Lynda. My prayers are with you and your loved ones.

I loved Charlie dearly. He was one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever known and he will truly be missed by all those whose lives he touched. My sympathies to the Laux family.
