Robert F. "Don Roberto" Cabrera Sr. age 90 years, beloved husband of Consuelo nee Guerrero. Loving father of Frank (Rosemarie), Ralph (Eileen), Rick (Eileen), Rachel (Chuck) Feinberg, John (Mita), Gloria Cabrera and the late Robert Cabrera Jr. Dearest grandfather of 23 and great grandfather of 22. A Fond cousin to many. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army WW II, a former 20 year employee of the Florsheim Shoe Co. and a retired 20 year emplyee of the Metropolitan Sanitary District.  Don Roberto was the well know band leader of his own band "Don Roberto y sus Rumboleros" for 20 plus years. Funeral Saturday 8:45 am from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home 4635 S Wallace St. to St. Gabriel Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 am. Visitation Friday 2pm to 9pm , Interment Mt.
