Glenn Albert Scott, Sr., 81, of Rossiter, PA passed away in Penn Highlands – Dubois Hospital on Monday June 1, 2020.  

Glen was born in Punxsutawney in 1938 to Charles Scott and Hazel Scott, both who predecease him.  

Glen is survived by many family members including his daughter Deborah Snyder and husband Tom of Mayport, PA and his son Glenn Scott Jr. and wife Angela, of Rossiter, PA.

He’s additionally survived by several brothers and sisters  - Jack Scott and wife Sandy, of OHIO,   Dottie Rishel of New Bethlehem and Leona Fitzgerald from the Erie area.

Also surviving are several grandchildren,  Brianna Stewart, Devan & Chelsea Snyder,as well as Bryon and Brandon Scott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers James Scott and Donald Scott as well as his sister Kay Scott Young.

Glenn was employed as a Lineman for Penelec until he retired in 1985.  

He also proudly served in the US Army in the Vietnam War.

When not working, Glenn enjoyed spending his time with family and friends and will be missed by all.

Funeral Arrangements for Glenn are under the trust and care of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home of Punxsutawney, PA   

There will be a visitation held for Glenn from 3 PM – 8 PM on Friday June 5, 2020.   Friends and public are welcome to pay their respects and say their “farewells” to Glen although to due to remnants of the Covid-19 regulations – only 25 individuals will be permitted into the funeral home at any given time.   We truly and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.   Potential visitors may call the funeral home to inquire about crowd size before travelling to the visitation.

There will be a celebration service held for Glenn at 7 PM by Joe Buterbaugh.

His final interment will be private at the request of the family.
