Growing up on Forest Avenue, I have such fond memories of that street and the way it used to be. She was quite a presence on that street. Over the last few years I did get to visit Maggie in the nursing home with my best friend, who happens to be Maggie's godchild. I have to say at those visits she was as sharp a tack and walked faster than me it seemed ! Rest in Peace Dear Maggie. |
