We will miss you Uncle Charlie, especially your dry sense of humor. You always kept the gang laughing. Rest in piece with God.

I am so sad at the loss of our dear Uncle Charlie, who was the cherished brother of my dad.  He was the last of the four siblings, and I have always shared my dad's enormous respect and affection for him.  The values of devotion to family, decency, hard work, and integrity which were the foundation of their lives continue to inspire me.  Heartfelt condolences to Aunt Flora, and to my wonderful cousins at the loss of their dad.
Much love,
Marie

Charlie was the King of Puns.
I will never forget Charlie's dry wit. He could toss a one-liner into a serious conversation and bring everyone back to reality. He was clever and quick. He was a charming, funny, likeable guy. I am sincerely sorry to hear he has passed away, but I will always remember him.

We are so very sad to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing. So many good memories with him, sailing with dad, coming to Hanover for family cookouts and celebrating his and dad's July birthdays, among others...our hearts are with Aunt Flora, and cousins Charlie (and Nancy), Michael, Susan (and Patrick), and family...he was the last of four wonderful siblings who knew how important family connections were...and passed on so much to all of us...he will be missed. Rest in Peace...

I spent my pre-teen years arguing with "Uncle Charlie" and my dad about stuff that only an obnoxious pre-teenager can, Uncle Charlie's humor never failed.
Uncle Charlie got me my first car a 1948 Chevrolet four door sedan.
Charlie's hospitality, stories and puns will be missed

A GARDEN PATH was sent by Al and Martha.

Uncle Charlie, the phrase "they do not make them like him anymore" applies to you. You will be missed by all who knew you. Al and Martha

Uncle Charlie was the best uncle and Godfather a girl could have.
i enjoyed his hilarious puns and how he used to love making Auntie Flora
roll her eyes at his jokes.   He was one of a kind.

Michael,
I was sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing.
My Dad always enjoyed the times we would run into you and your Dad at Market Basket on a Saturday morning.  It brought him nice memories of days gone by.
I am sorry I was unable to attend the wake.
You and your family are in my prayers.
