Posted by: chris toto zaremba Tue October 06, 2015 | Dear Uncle Tony, I can just see you with my dad, John and your other brothers and sisters gathered around some table eating and drinking Grandpa's home made anisette. You will be happy and healthy. It is those of us left behind who feel the sadness. But we know it is your time to move onto the other side, and that's just the way it is. Only wish I was able to bring you one more joke! Everyone else reading this, give someone a hug today... |

Posted by: Steven Fanale Wed October 07, 2015 | Tony Toto only a mother could love on paydays and Christmas. With friends like Toto who needs enemies.Tony Toto with his cane he is able. All of those words were uttered by the great Arthur Viola. To me Tony was a great man who did great things for this country and helped make us live in freedom. I will miss you very much. When to get to heaven tell Viola that he is Nuts! Not you. See what he saids and then tell me. God Bless. Steven M. Fanale |

Posted by: Donald and Lucie Toto Fri October 09, 2015 | Uncle Tony was a charming, handsome and loving man. His jokes and humor brought smiles to everyone who knew him. He was an accomplished professional soldier and worked for years in his brother's meat market in Chelsea. He was the patriarch of the Toto family and we will all remember him for being a kind and gentle soul. Yes, I, too, hope he and all his family are re-united and sharing stories of their family farm in Reading. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered always. God bless his wife Ada, and his children, who looked after him with selfless compassion in his later years. |
Posted by: Susan Zirpolo Locigno Fri October 09, 2015 | Today, i found out that we lost a very dear old friend from MassDOT, Mass Highway Public Works. Tony was the first guy i met when i jointed the department. i was 19 and he was like a father to me. today, i still work here im 61. Very respectfu gentleman, i always made him laugh, he would turn red. the guys made in the 1920s like my dad they dont make anymore. just last week i asked Dennis Degangi how is Tony TOTO, and he didd tell me he was sick. My heart goes out to his family. you had the honor of a great husband and father. we had the honor to work with a wonderful man. not to say i would kiss him occassionally on the cheek and he would turn red... Tony Papa is one of the Icons with the state. again my deepest sympthony. i would of shared his life today if i new. so for now Tony TOTO rest in Piece my friend. Susan |
