I tell people all the time that you were happiest with your family in one arm and a martini in the other hand. Always the light at any party or family gathering, you left an impression on so many people that I am overwhelmed at the number of people that have reached out to us over these past few days. I was so blessed when my parents chose her and my Uncle Nick to be my Godparents. From the very beginning - 63 years later, this beautiful, loving, generous woman treated me like a daughter. She was so full of life. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She was the one who made sure everyone was always happy and that the family stayed close. We shared a special bond and I will be forever grateful for her in my life. She showered me with love and I pray that she always knew how much I truly loved her. You will be so missed. Be at peace now, Aunty Sister. I love you, Laurel |
