Karla, I am saddened to learn of your mom's passing. I have many times over the last 40+ years wondered what happened to her.  I met you in Chelsea in, I believe, 1966.  I am your dad's middle brother's oldest son and I now live in Las Cruces, NM. May the Lord bless you and your family during these days.  I just learned of your mom from Elaine in an email today. Dear Family,

I would like to express my sincere condolences at the loss of your dear loved one. Please be assured that your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of Life. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, praying to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible tells us that God is "healing the broken-hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot (Psalm 147:3). May the "Father of tender mercies" and the "God of all comfort" strengthen your faith and give you courage to face the days ahead (2 Corinthians 1:3). My sincere condolences to the family.
