Dear Sviokla Family,
On behalf of my family, I offer our condolences. Fr. Sviokla meant so much to everyone at St. Anthony's Parish in Allston. He provide so much for the youth of the parish during the 1950's and 1960's, from CYO to National Champion Drill Teams to a winning Drun & Bugle Corps that I served on. Fr. Sviokla gave us kids an opportunity to work hard, play as a team, be champions, and be a good person. I thank him for his spirital leadership and all that he gave us at St. Anthony's Parish, and I pray to God, that he rest in peace. God Bless.

No one can put into words what the Rev. Msgr. Edmund Sviokla did for St. Thomas Parish-Jamaica Plain years ago. He took all our teenagers and formed a band that was superior in all ways, not just by winning, but the friendships of not only the kids but the parents who loved and admired him so very much. Thank you Father is not enough to say for all you did for all of us in St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. Priests like you and so many we can never be thankful enough for devoting your life to God and to all of us. God keep you in His care.
