D'ALLEVA, Assunta "Nonna Assunta" Penna
Of Winchester formerly of Everett on December 14, age 101. Beloved wife of the late Nicola. Mother of Serafina Cipollone and her husband Antonio of Everett, Carmine D'Alleva and his wife Nina of Concord, Maddalena Giamberardino of Woburn and her late husband Bernardo, Yolanda DiTavi and her husband Angelo of Maynard and Norma DiCarlo and her husband Vincenzo of Winchester. Sister of Amadeo Penna and his wife Teresa of Everett and predeceased by 8 other siblings. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, EVERETT Thursday, December 17 at 9. Funeral Mass St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 3-8. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. D'Alleva's memory may be made to the Winchester Hospital Foundation, 611 Main St, Winchester, MA 01890. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Assunta was the oldest surviving member of the Orsogna Women's Club. Complimentary valet parking at front entrance.
