Of Everett, on Dec. 3. Beloved husband of Frances Pitari. Loving father of Robert C. Downey, Jr. of Everett and the late Carla. Loving brother of Joseph Downey of New Mexico, Daniel of NH, Nora Flagg of Plymouth, Joan Downey of Cape Cod, Mary Downey of Brockton and the late John. He is survived by 1 loving grandson, Jonathan Downey. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Mon., Dec. 7 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Sun. only 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Bob's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
