MATTEUCCI, Florence Whelan Of Melrose formerly of Everett passed away on October 24 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of 54 years of Vincent T. Loving mother of Irene, Thomas and his wife Debbie, Stephen and his wife Lisa, David and his wife Janet, Kenneth and his wife Ann-Marie. Devoted grandmother of Sarah, Mark, Tommy, Abigail, Danny, Joseph, Andrew and Susan. Dear sister to Beverly Haneffant, Sister Barbara Whelan, Harold Whelan Jr and his wife Lori and sister in law to Charlotte. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, EVERETT, Thursday October 29 at 10. Funeral Mass Immaculate Conception Church, Everett at 11. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8. In lieu of flowers please give to the charity of your choice. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Florence graduated from Cheverus High School and the Malden Hospital School of Nursing as Valedictorian. She worked for many years at NE Memorial Hospital and Wakefield Medical Center. She was the President of the Melrose Chapter of the MACLD for 10 years working tirelessly helping many students with learning disabilities.
