SHANNON, Eleanor M. "Ellie" Sarno Of Danvers, formerly of Everett, on October 25. Beloved wife of the late James E. Mother of Michael and his wife Susan of Danvers, Tara Welsh and her husband Robert A. III of West Barnstable and Elizabeth Medeiros and her husband Steven V. of Newburyport. Daughter of Eleanor Manzi Sarno and the late Amerino "Moody" Sarno. Sister of Nancy Mercer of MD, Elizabeth McKinnon of FL, and the late Anthony. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Maggie, Michael, Matthew, Robbie, Ryan, Charlie and Emily. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Wednesday, October 29, at 9. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Everett, at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Shannon's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA 01923. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Long-time teacher in the Everett School System and late member of both the Everett Teachers' Assoc. and the Mass. Teachers' Assoc.
