Of Malden, formerly of Everett on May 21. Beloved husband of Christine Garafano. Loving brother of Thomas Sorrenti of Everett and Ann McGee of Lynn, and the late Joseph, Anthony and Frank Sorrenti, Annette DeLuca, Lillian Pocaro and Mary Wood, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT on Saturday, May 24 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Friday only 4-8 p.m. John was a decorated World War II veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
