Uncle Joe, Ricky and Family ...
Auntie Kay was such a part of our lives, even through my childhood when she would visit with little surprise packages of clothes she outgrew and wanted to give to the family. I remember her quiet ways, her love of our family's foods, and her pleasant demeanor to all. I never saw her get upset or cross, and she was a welcome addition at any time.
When I had children of my own, she and Uncle Joe would babysit and come and enjoy my 3 children for themselves. It was a joy to have her around, as she never made a fuss about anything.
Through the years she was so proud of her son and his family, and Ricky should have nothing but pleasant thoughts and memories of his time with his Mother. Auntie Kay would always fill us in on her family goings-on and tell us fondly of stories about Meredith and Michael.
In all the years of life here on earth, nothing but good came out of Auntie Kay...and she will be remembered with love and kindness by all of us who enjoyed being in her company and seeing her over the past Fourth of July family celebrations.
May God wrap his arms graciously around her in Paradise, and may her family remember with fondness the great life she had with Uncle Joe, and her family members. She will be sadly missed and remembered for her kindness to all. Uncle Joe watched over her so well, and their love was devoted until the end. Nice to see that!
It was my privilege to know Auntie Kay and look forward to her presence.
...Dolly
