Of Everett on Feb. 22. Beloved husband of Francesca Maietta and loving father of Pepe Maietta of Everett and Michael Maietta and his wife Felicia of Lynnfield. Also survived by 2 loving grandchildren, Francesca and Melissa. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Wed. Feb. 27 at 8 a.m. Funeral Service in Funeral Home, Everett, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Tues. only 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Lorenzo's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Rd, Weston, MA 02493. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Everett. Lorenzo was a member of the Local #3 Bricklayers Union.

On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire membership of The Carmen A. Schiavo Association I would like to offer our deepest sympathy to Mr. Maietta's family. I know you all were taking such good care of him. My wife Carol and I would speak often with Pepe and he would tell us how the day to day care was going. We both recently lost our fathers to cancer, such a terrible disease! If it is any help to know, we are all here to help in any way. It's good to have friends in times like this, we are here for you.
