Carl J. Caroselli 94 of Lake Forest, IL formerly of Wakefield and Chestnut Hill passed away on February 14, 2008. He was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Kennedy and his second wife Shayla Groper. He is survived by his daughter Ellen Peter Bernard, his stepsons Jeffrey Marilyn and Michael Rosenberg, his stepdaughters Robin Pulte Michael and Peri Lamb Martin. He is also survived by his grandsons Kyle and Jared Peter, his granddaughters Samantha and Jocelyn Rosenberg and Elissa and Simina Lamb. He is also survived by Harriet a PAWS dog. Mr. Caroselli was born in Everett, MA on June 7, 1913. He was the son of the late Vincenzo and the late Assunta Caroselli. He was a graduate of Everett High School, Dean Academy and Boston College. He was an accomplished athlete and played football at Everett High School and Boston College where he received a football scholarship. Mr. Caroselli served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and took part in the Central Pacific Campaign; he attained the rank of First Lieutenant. Mr. Caroselli worked until be was ninety-two and most of his career was in sales. He worked for many years as a manufacturer's representative for the St. Charles Mfg. Co. He ended his career as a security guard for the Harvard Medical School. He was a long time resident of Wakefield, MA where he was active in many civic organizations including the Kiwanis Club and the United Way. He was an avid golfer and volunteer giving his time to many community organizations including the Lake Forest Library Book Sale and the First Presbyterian Church Rummage Sale. At the time of his death Mr. Caroselli was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Lake Forest, IL. Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made In Memory of Carl J.
