Robert Anthony Pestana Of Saugus, formerly of Everett, on Oct. 17, Age 52, suddenly. Beloved husband of Kathy Soule. Uncle of Tom Soule. Son of Anthony & Hilda Lang of Everett, Brother of Diane of Everett, Linda Monti & her husband John of Randolph, & the late Anthony. Also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in law & friends. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Monday, Oct. 22, at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass St. Anthony Church, Everett at 9. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Late member of the Saugus Elks & the Saugus VFW.

My name is John Davis and I worked with Bob at Ratheon in Waltham along with his dad. I started in 1978 and left in 1985. I was assigned to Bobs department which was called DITMCO. We tested printed circuit boards. Bob was really good at his job. He would even show the Electrical Engineers what was wrong. It was pretty impressive. The thing I liked most about him is he was very protective of me. He made sure nobody took advantage of me. He was like a brother you would look up to and respected. I just found out about his passing just recently.Bob rest in peace my brother. It saddens me that you are gone.
