Joan M. Hobin LaRovere Of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett on May 18. Beloved wife of Francis J. Mother of Atty. Francis J. III & his wife Susan L., Matthew J. & his wife Wendy M. all of Lynnfield, Dr. Joan M. & her husband Dr. Dominic J.R. Abrams of London, Timothy J., Atty. Daniel J. & his wife Kerri L. all of Lynnfield, David J. of Everett, Mark J. & his wife Jackie L. of Houston & the late Susan M. Daughter of the late James M. & Mary E. Hobin. Sister of Rose A. Squatrito of Peabody, James M. Hobin of Middleton & the late Mary E. Shannon. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas & Vincent LaRovere; Francis IV, Michael, Emily & Mary LaRovere; & Eliza LaRovere Abrams. A funeral will be held from Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm St., Everett, Thurs., May 24th at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the St. Maria Goretti Church, Lynnfield at 10 am. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-8pm in Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel. Donations may be made to N.E. Hemophilia Assoc, 347 Washington St., Suite 402, Dedham, MA 02026. All flower deliveries may be made directly to Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel. Entombment will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett. Mrs. LaRovere was a late member of the Salem Country Club. Frank: By chance I happened to see the notice in the Globe of Joan's death. I never knew her well, but enough to see that she was a fine person. My thoughts are with you and your family. David

Tim, I learned of your mother's death from Kim Zenisky very late on Friday.
Regardless of the circumstances it is never easy.

You were such a nice granmother.We loved you very much all of us miss you us emily and mary+me all of us your granchildren.It was hard for me to say goodbye to her.I loved her very much and a lot because she all ways took care of me.
