Mary Ann, Ralph, Michael, and Kenneth,

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's death on Tuesday. I wanted to extend my condolences in person, but today's snow and car problems have kept me from the wake. My thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Tony...I know what Phyllis meant to you from your earliest days
to these last days of anguish that you and Phyllis's children had to endure. She was many, many, things to you;.. sister, mother, friend....! Hearing you talk about her so often lately, made me realize, once again, how much you loved her...and,.. I know that she gave that love back to you, totally. Keep those memories...I'm sorry not to be able to make the wake tonight ,..but, I'm with you...! I offer the words of this song to Phyllis.."May the choirs of angels lead you into paradise , may the martyrs come to welcome you,and take you to God..." My heartfelt sorrow to you , Mary Ann, and all of Phyllis's children...Love Joe Stella
