Francis R. "Ray" Spurr Of Everett on the morning of November 10 at the age of 73. He was the loved & cherished husband of Rosemarie Solomita Spurr for 39 incredible years. Proud father of Patricia Wilcox & her husband David of Everett, Raymond Spurr of Everett and Vincent Spurr of San Francisco, CA. Much loved & wonderful grandpa of Nathan, Andrew, and Kira Wilcox. Beloved brother of Dr. Gerald Spurr & his wife Beth of WI, and the late Harry Spurr of Gardner and the late R. Leo Spurr & his wife Florence of FL. Brother in law of Anthony Solomita & his wife Louise of Dennis, & Michael Solomita & his wife Sharon of Stoneham. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT on Tues., Nov. 14 at 10AM. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 11 AM. Relatives & friends are kindly invited visiting hours on Mon. only 2-4 & 7-9. Ray was a longtime employee of the U.S Post Office, Naval Veteran of the Korean War, & member of the Retired Men's Club of Arlington. His stories & friendship will be missed by all.
