Of Everett on July 15. Loving mother of William "Bill" Doherty and his wife Louise, Arlene Olbrys and her husband Ted, Olivia Wallers and her husband Jason, Marylee Meehan and her late husband Jack and Alida Fallon and her son Todd and daughter in law Marie and Steven Fallon and his wife Peggy. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St. EVERETT, on Wed. July 19 at 9 A.M. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Tues. only 4-8 P.M. Her daughter Alida would like to acknowledge Olivia's extended family-Pat, Marie, Solange, Lisa and Michele at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford who lovingly cared for her for the past several years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olivia's memory may be made to the Sisters of Good Sheppard, 26 Waverly St. Stoneham. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Rocco-Carr Henderson-Funeral Homes

Auntie Olivia was an unforgettable, funny and flamboyant woman. As a child I remember waking after a Friday overnight at her busy house to see her sweeping laundry along the hall floors while barking orders to her children and overnighters. One Sunday, just after Mass began, I saw her stride up the main aisle, confidant in a huge floral topped hat, seating herself smack in the front row. My aunt once told me that all that mattered with us kids is that we become "good people," -- good words to live by.
