Ruth (Thompson) D’Andrea, aged 90, of Everett and Reading on November 27, 2019. Dear mother of Donna Uglietta and her husband Fred and Ronald D’Andrea and his wife, Lynn Pelosi-Pallotta. Beloved grandmother of Ryan Healy and his wife Giselle and Andrea and Amanda Uglietta. Loving sister to Ronald Itzo and his wife, Nancy. Predeceased by her two sisters, Dorothy and Barbara.

Ruthie worked many years for the Sexton Can Company where she met her late husband, Angelo D’Andrea. She went on to work at Kappy’s Liquors for 30 years. She wasn’t afraid of hard work and continued until she was 88 years old.

Ruthie was always the life of the party. She loved trips to Vegas and Florida. Besides her family, she leaves her many friends from Prescott Street and Oy’s in Reading.

Memorial service will be held at Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Friday, December 6, 2019. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:30, with complimentary valet parking. A Prayer Service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 6:30.

Ruthie was an amazing high-spirited woman who will be missed by all who knew her. We feel blessed to have had her as part of our lives for so long.

Auntie Ruthie, you were always a staple in our lives as kids growing up. Your smile was infectious, and your zest for life was obvious. I know Uncle Georgie amd Mom were waiting for you at the gates of Heaven. Love you always.
