My dear sweet Anna, I'll miss our chats, laughs, smiles, and special times. I loved listening to you play Chopin, so relaxing and hearing you sing in the choir. Laughing around the dining room table with your boys, watching movies, taking you out to your favorite bakery. Kitty talk. So many fond memories. I'll think of you often and fondly. I love you.

Thank you being the most beautiful, the most loving, and understanding mother a son could ever be blessed with having on this Earth. Although I will miss you forever, I will continue to express the love you taught me to give not only to myself but to others. I "will be alright" as you told me days ago...but that would not have been possible if it was not for your support throughout the years to let me go and discover who I was. May you finally be united with dad, nona, and nono and find the peace you all sought now in Heaven. I love you Mom.....always.

Mother,
I find it hard to fathom that you're no longer with us in our worldly lives. You were a strong woman of faith and virtue. You faced fear with a smile on your face. The war inside you has been fought bravely. Your love and strength in God gave you promise and hope to conquer. Through your pain and suffering, you are at peace. Through your acts, you're rewarded.
Ti amo!

We will carry your memory forever, mom. It is through you that we have learned love, faith. and grace. Although your work is finished on Earth, it continues through your sons. Continue to be present in our lives so as to remind us how limitless our love and potential are. We will "be ok" as you told me. We love you forever..

Dear Anna,

I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend more time together, the distance between us was the main reason for that, but I absolutely loved when you were here together with us and spending the holidays with us. I’m so incredibly grateful that you were able to be at and in our wedding. I’m also incredibly grateful for you bringing your son Frank Canillas into this world. You did an amazing job raising three boys all on your own for so many years. I will miss having you with us during the holidays, and everyday, but I know your spirit will always be there with us. You were a wonderful, very sweet, funny, & caring person. You are no longer suffering and that I’m very happy about. I’m very grateful you were there to spend Easter with us, and that I was able to spend time with you right before God took you home. You can now continue your next life with your husband after so many years of being apart. I saw how hard you fought and you battled beautifully. I will miss you very, very much. I love you, Anna

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Carmine, Anthony and Francis, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom was an inspiration to so many. Although she had so much pain she would still come to sing in our choir. She told me she needed to be there. Today while I was singing in church I kept looking to my left where your mom would be. I will miss her so much. She is now at peace in the arms of the angels. No more suffering. God bless her. Heaven just gained another angel. Love you Anna. I am so happy I got to tell you I saw your video.

Dearest Anna, Proverbs 31:10-31 describes you best, in my mind.
Your sincere love for others combined with your diligent efforts to live as close to the Lord as possible was commonplace. Renee and I will cherish the times we shared with you always! Rest In Peace sister, you'be fought the good fight, amen!

The last time I saw Anna was three weeks ago at church. She was determined to be there as she wanted and needed to sing with the choir, for singing brought her much joy. Although her illness was relentless and the pain was intense, I never saw Anna down in the dumps. She was a true child of God and had completely given herself over to His will. She knew that in the end, everything would be okay. I knew Anna in the choir for close to 30 years and will truly miss her.
