Filippo “Philip” DiBenedetto
Of Medford on June 27. Born in Orsogna, Italy. Beloved husband of the late Eleonora (Arpino). Cherished father of Mena Lombardo and her husband Domenic of Stoneham, Maria DeFeudis and her husband Jack of Medford, Angela Di Blasi and her husband Ken of Stoneham, and Rina Lo Grasso and her husband Calo of Stoneham. Brother of Nicoletta Tenaglia. Loving Papa of 9 grandchildren: Marina, Cristina, Alaina, Amanda, Alyssa, Calo, Nicholas, Marco and Carina. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Saturday, June 30 at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in the St. Francis of Assisi Church, Medford at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Philip came to this country and fulfilled his dreams of opening up several restaurants and providing for his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed. Donations in Philip's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451. Complimentary valet parking will be available at funeral home Friday evening.
