Barone, Joseph D. Of Florida formerly of Medford on April 7. Beloved husband of 24 years to Claire (Liston). Loving son of the late Joseph L. and Anna R. Barone. Loving brother of Deanna Barone. Loving nephew to Andrew Coveluzzi and his wife Dianne. Also, survived by his lifelong friend Chris Manni, brother in laws Mark Liston and Edward Liston -Kraft and his partner Philip Liston-Kraft. He will be missed by many loving cousins, nephews and nieces. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett on Friday April 13 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Thursday evening from 4-8 PM. Complimentary valet parking Thursday evening at Main St entrance. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Joseph was the lead security officer at Cape Coral Hospital whose staff was like a second family to him.
