May your memories bring you peace and comfort in your time of grief. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Val was always so kind to me and she was always such a loving, caring, and generous woman with a great heart.

valerie, i know you are now where you want to be and i know you are smiling down on us. It goes without saying how much we will all miss you and i will miss you telling me "this one eats like a bird" and who do I ask at reunions "who is that"! Know that at my birthday dinner there will be a place set for you and we will send up a toast to let you know you are still with us in spirit. Dear lifelong friend i am sure we will all be together once again, so save a place for all of us. You will always be with us in thought and prayer. Lulu

Val, you taught me how to be a real person and never gave up on me. My greatest strength that I received from you was unconditional love, I will miss you and will try to pay it forward all the lessons I learned from you to some one else. You leave every one that you helped with a life full of wisdom and selfless service. You were my Mom , my mentor, the one person who always had an answer to questions. never told what I wanted to here always told me how it was. I am the man that came to you 16 years ago a cast iron, and you helped me to become a marshmallow for that I will always be grateful. Your patience for my unique way of learning and remembering things was extraordinary, you never reprimanded me and yelled at me when I made a mistake you encouraged me to find the answer. When it was time to detach from me you would always tell me that you loved me. I am going to miss you and will remember you for how you lived, God was and will always be your source of strength. My heart is broken knowing your not here in body but I know your presence is in my heart. I love you.
