Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Friday, September 15th at 10 a.m. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Complimentary valet parking will be available during Thursday evening's visiting hours. Valerie was very involved with self-help recovery groups, most specifically, through her bookstore in Everett named "Inner Voyage."
